Summer Work Experience - Thank you Jacob for all your help

In July the AONB team were joined by Jacob Cook from Bishop’s Lydeard for a week of work experience with us. He worked alongside our AONB Rangers and Volunteer Coordinator. Jacob took part in a wide variety of tasks gaining an insight into the diverse range of work of the team. This included butterfly surveys, taking part in volunteer work parties managing habitats, woodland bird surveys and helping us get ready for our joint National Trust and AONB annual volunteer BBQ. Jacob’s enthusiasm, commitment and willingness to get stuck into anything were commendable and we look forward to welcoming him back in the future as a volunteer.
