Triscombe Stone is a small standing stone at a key historic location on top of the Quantock Hills. While unimpressive the stone is thought to date back to the Bronze Age and marks the crossing point of the old Drovers Track that went from Watchet to Taunton across the spine of the Quantock Hills and the main east to west track joining the Somerset Levels and Moors with West Somerset Vale and Exmoor to the West. There is a local ledgend that if you sit on it at sunrise a wish you make will be granted.
