Kings Cliff Woods
A hidden gem near North Petherton, Kings Cliff is a wonderful woodland with mature oaks, sweet chestnuts and a babbling stream running through it.

Great to visit all year around.
Look out for
Roe Deer can often be seen running through the woods and in the spring and summer the woods are alive with the sound of woodland birds. In the summer glow worms can be seen at dusk in the long grasses alongside the tracks

Kings Cliff woods is owned and managed by Forestry England. The woodland is a wonderful mosaic of conifer, old oak and sweet chestnuts woodland and with plenty of paths to walk, horse ride or cycle around the site allows a relaxing emersion into nature on the edge of the Quantock Hills.
