About the event

A unique day workshop for adults surrounded by nature at Cothelstone Hill teaching basic carving techniques using hand tools such as knife, axe and draw knife, to create your own unique handcrafted spatula.


The day will also cover selecting the correct timber for carving and which woods to avoid, how to sharpen and safely use the tools. No previous experience necessary!


Please wear warm outdoor clothing and bring a coat suitable for all that a British Autumn day can bring... Waterproof footwear and bring your own lunch and plenty to drink.
