Our monthly Wellbeing Wanders offer the chance to enjoy a gentle stroll with a focus on a particular nature theme each time. In small groups of up to 12 participants our intention is to dive deeper into the wonder of nature around us, share our knowledge and give a boost to our health and wellbeing.

About the event
For our December wander, we invite you to join Joanna for a winter-themed seasonal celebration. There will be a focus on the wonderful seasonal plants of holly, ivy and mistletoe and an invitation to be involved in creating a seasonal mandala to help us appreciate the glory of these seasonal delights. Our session will include poetry and folklore as well as some tasty seasonal treats.
Our Wellbeing Wanders have a mindfulness approach woven in. There will be opportunities for each of us to share something of our own knowledge and the meaning this time of year has for us. This may be in pairs, small groups or all together (but there is never any pressure or expectation to join in these discussions). There may also be invitations to spend some time alone to reflect.
Fyne Court is the perfect place to explore all that arises with the coming winter season. We anticipate a lovely walk around the grounds at Fyne Court and adjacent land, with a chance to sit and rest and take in the beauty along the way before gathering in the Library to enjoy refreshments and seasonal cheer.
What to wear/bring:
Please come equipped for all that an English December day can bring! Sturdy footwear and rain coat, hat and warm, layered clothing are advised.
Please also bring a drink and a snack to sustain you on the walk if you wish, plus a seasonal tasty treat to share if you would like to so.
You may also like to bring a sprig of a plant that has meaning for you at this time of year, or some other item from nature to add to our seasonal nature mandala that we will create together.
