The Quantock Experience Guided Walk - Friday 15th November 2019

Quantock Volunteer Rangers Don & John will lead you on a 13 kilometre (8 miles) guided walk starting from Sandy Beds carpark to take in the view from Dowsborough and then heading downhill towards Holford Combe.

We then head up towards Higher Hare Knap being 312 metres above sea level, the highest point on this walk and make our way towards Crowcombe Park Gate.

Heading towards Great Hill we then drop down to Quantock Combe, pass Great Wood and head into Seven Wells Wood before arriving back at the carpark.

Views from the summits will depend on the weather but are likely to include the Brendon hills, Exmoor and South Wales.

The route will be along narrow lanes and rural tracks, which may be muddy and stony, the route will also include some steep ascents and descents.

Sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing should be worn; the walk will take about three to four hours, so you should bring food and drink with you.
