About the event
The Quantock Hills are a special place perfect for star gazing, the darkness of the skies in our wilder and more natural areas are so important to the unspoilt character we are trying to protect. Â This early evening session is aimed at young families (minimum recommended age 5 years) and includes a high tech planetarium experience inside the Space Odyssey Galileo dome (http://www.spaceodyssey.co.uk/newsite/) and a guided stargazing session outside afterwards.Â
In the dome there will be around 24 chairs available to those who particularly need them and floor space for the rest.  Please feel free to bring along cushions to make things more comfortable.  Also for the outdoor part of the session bring along your own binoculars and telescopes to make the most of the evening. Warm clothing suitable for outside stargazing is essential.
Adults £10.00 per person
Children (under 16) £7.50 per child
(In the event of bad weather the event will continue to go ahead, as there will be an extended session in the planetarium)
