About the event
The east end of the Quantock Hills through the wooded valley then climbing through fields to reveal views of the Somerset Levels, Mendip, and the Bristol Channel. Returning route visits the historic village of Goathurst.
Led by Quantock Hills Walk Leader, Jonathan Sladden.
Trails type: Footpaths, tracks and country lanes. Steep in parts, fitness level intermediate. Month of Mud (difficulty) Welly Rating 3/5.
What to wear/bring:
Please check the weather forecast for the day and come equipped for all that an English winters day can bring. Warm clothing, a hat and sturdy footwear and rain coat/trousers are advised. Please also bring a packed lunch and plenty of water for the duration of the walk (1L recommended).
