Lore and Lide - Entering Equinox Walk

Join us for a walk through Bishops Lydeard to St Agnes Well as we look to find spring in all its forms.

From folklore to flora, this walk will announce the season and hit upon some of the hidden histories and heritage of spring on the Quantock Hills. Find your folklore this equinox and join our new event. 

What to wear/bring:

Please check the weather forecast for the day and come equipped for all that a British early spring day can bring.  Warm clothing, and sturdy footwear are advised. Please also bring a snack and a drink if required for the duration of the walk.

Terrain:

The walk will be approximately 11km (7 miles) on footpaths and tracks with some slopes so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the terrain and weather conditions on the day.

Any medical conditions that may affect the participants during the walk should be notified to the walk leader prior to the start of the walk.

Dogs:

Dogs are welcome, however, please notify us if you plan on bringing your dog/s. We ask that where there are livestock grazing, and fields, dogs must be on leads. Please observe the Countryside Code, and please respect other dog owners and fellow walkers. We cannot guarantee that every stile is suitable for dogs.
