LGBTQ+ Community Walk **POSTPONED**

What to expect:

• Easy parking.

• Mostly level terrain (not wheelchair accessible).

• A 20-minute optional detour to explore the historic lime kiln in Hawkridge Woods and enjoy the stunning viewpoint (this is the steepest part of the route).

• Reservoir footpaths, open fields, and a section through beautiful private woodland, including Warriors' Rest commemorative area.

• Gorgeous views, a mix of shaded and open paths, and a short stretch on a quiet road to return to cars.

• Back-casting: please give space to anglers by the lake.

• Blue-green algae present: please keep dogs (and people!) out of the water.

  
  

Cake & Connection Break:

We’ll take a relaxed 15-minute break partway through. Feel free to bring cake or snacks to share (and a blanket to sit on!). Everyone is responsible for their own dietary needs and allergy awareness. Vegan chocolate cake will be available!

Optional Extras:

• Bring your pronoun badge if you like – it can help with introductions.

• Insect repellent or mosquito spray (at your discretion).

• Sunscreen, water, and a hat – or waterproofs, depending on forecast.

Dogs: Welcome if well-behaved. Please note, some stiles have no dog access (dogs will need to be lifted).

Under 18s: Welcome with an accompanying parent or guardian.

Travel: Sharing transport is encouraged where possible.
