Five Churches Walk

Move through the Quantock landscape church by church with a café stop along the way. Visit Ash Priors, Halse, Heathfield, Cotford St Luke and return via Bishops Lydeard, We'll be stopping to visit a church at each village. See the architecture and awe-inspiring views from each village viewpoint!

Terrain:

With a mixture of farmland walking routes and quiet lanes, this 15km flat route will have some short and sharp climbs to be expected, this walk will test your fitness and footwear as we walk our way around the base of the Quantock Hills. Please remember to wear appropriate footwear for walking off road, dress comfortably for the weather on the day and remember to bring your own packed lunch and refreshments, especially a drink (1 litre is recommended).

Safety:

Participants are responsible for their own health and safety in preparation and taking part in the event. Participants are responsible for wearing suitable footwear & clothing for the environment and are responsible for assessing their own risk, the safety of themselves and the suitability of any equipment used during the walk.
