Start your Sunday morning a little earlier for a guided walk in the Quantock Hills temperate rainforest with Mark Baker and Andy Stevenson from the Quantock Hills National Landscape Team.

About the event
The walk starts early to focus on finding some of the woodland’s special birds and also providing the opportunity to learn how to identify a wide range of birds from their behaviour, calls and songs. We will talk about the habitats that the birds use, identify trees, wildflowers and anything else of interest.
Starting from Holford Green Car Park the walk will take approximately 2 and a half hours and will be approximately 5km (3 miles) going away from tracks with hilly woodland/moorland and some moderately steep slopes, so please wear suitable footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day and bring your own refreshments.
Tickets are £2.50 per adult and children under 16 are free.
