Creatures of the Night - Outstanding Week

The walk leaders will be in hi-vis jackets to direct parking. Please note Sat Nav’s may not be accurate due to the remote nature of the location and if you are unsure of directions please contact us and allow plenty of time for travel. Please note - The walk DOES NOT start / finish in Ramscombe.

Outstanding Week is the AONB Family’s week (and a bit) long programme of events to help people enjoy and be inspired by the UK’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONBs). This year it takes place from Saturday 15th – Sunday 23rd September.

AONBs are some of the most beautiful and cherished landscapes in Britain. They are vibrant landscapes which offer a wealth of opportunities for everyone to enjoy them.

Join our team of rangers to discover the outstanding delights of the Quantock Hills after dark. The woodland is teaming with wildlife, you just need to look and listen carefully, remember a torch and suitable walking shoes/boots. This walk would be suitable for age 8+ due to the distance and timings.
