About the Event

Why not join us in the Spring time to discover for yourself, the health benefits of Forest Bathing. Come and join Nature and Wellbeing Coordinator Kristen Lambert and try out the Japanese practice of ‘Shinrin Yoku’, connecting with nature through mindfulness exercises.  There will be a short walk through and time spent within the woods on rough terrain, so please wear sensible footwear and clothing suitable for the weather conditions on the day.  No experience or prior knowledge of Forest Bathing needed – just an open mind and a love of nature!

There will be a tea and cake break but please bring a bottle of water.   We will be returning in the early afternoon so you might like to bring a snack for the journey home.

We are working in partnership with the NHS Somerset Wellbeing and Learning Community and booking is essential via their website: https://somersetwlc.co.uk/courses/forest-bathing/

Free transport will be available from Bridgwater at 9.45am (Glanville House TA6 5AT)  and Taunton 9.45am (Foundation House TA2 7PQ) returning back by 1.30pm the latest.
