Lights, Camera……….Action!

After its appearance on ITV, St Agnes Well was subjected to further attention, this time from the Quantock Countryside Volunteers.
A small group of enthusiastic volunteers provided the muscle to apply the finishing touches to this lovely, secluded site. The group helped to clear stone and vegetation, install a new interpretation board, and provided the railings with a new lick of paint. The transformation is now complete and the Well restored to its full past glory.
The volunteers worked amazingly well, and keen to help more, moved across the Hill to paint a further section of new park fencing and undertake some important footpath maintenance. It’s important to remember that without the support from the volunteers, through time and sweat, the AONB service would strain to provide such a high quality of service.
