Harvesting Wheat for Thatch

This is a special Quantock job! The wheat must be harvested with great care so that the stalks can be used for making thatched roofs.

These farm workers are using old machinery to harvest the wheat. This leaves the wheat stalks undamaged so that they can be used for thatching.
